Spanish Lessons: Comprehensive Curriculum

At Kamalbe Spanish School, we believe that the best way to understand the Spanish language is to learn the structure and grammar as well as familiarizing oneself with the culture.  Our overall priority is to ensure that each student receives a first class education.
 
At the Kamalbe Spanish School, our one on one approach allows the teacher to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of each student.  The flexibility of each program, schedule, and even place of study provides a greater understanding of not only the Spanish language, but also the rich Guatemalan culture.  The goals of the program are for all students to achieve their desired level of Spanish in the fields of reading/writing, conversation and oral comprehension.  In addition to classes, students will live with a local family, which provides the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class.

Our program has four levels:
Level 1: Beginner (1 week approximately)
Level 2: Basic (2-3 weeks)
Level 3: Intermediate (2-3 weeks)
Level 4: Advanced (3-5 weeks)

Each course of study, from absolute beginner to advanced, includes five hours per day of individual instruction.

 Class Environment:

A good learning environment is part of the learning process. Our classes are conducted in an outside garden courtyard. We also have an indoor class room. Kamalbe is located in downtown Xela close to all the amenities of central park. A small library of books, magazines and supporting material is available for students to borrow in order to supplement their learning. Students may also enjoy hot coffee or tea, along with traditional Guatemalan ‘’pan’’ or ‘’galletas’’ during breaks from classes.
